A styled beach day on Oahu, handled end to end

Hawaii Picnics & Beach Events is Yndira Wember Tonin — an Oahu beach-event planner styling picnics, proposals and celebrations on the island since 2022. We do the tables, the florals, the permits and the teardown. You just show up to the good part.

The short version

Yndira landed on Oahu in 2022 as a military spouse, here on her husband's PCS orders, and started setting up beach picnics on these shores that same year. He's retired now, and the two of them run Hawaii Picnics & Beach Events together — proposals, elopements, birthdays, and unhurried sunset dinners on the sand.

It started as one styled table for a friend and turned into a full setup-and-teardown service across the island. Today that means fully styled beach picnics and events at Oahu — Ko Olina, Kailua, Waikiki, Ala Moana, Lanikai and the North Shore — with the cedar tables, florals, tableware, lighting and every permit taken care of before you arrive.

We are licensed & insured · all beach permits handled. And the guides on this site are not researched from a mainland desk — they come from working this island every week. That is the only kind of advice we know how to give: what we'd tell a friend, not what ranks.

    We pull the DLNR shoreline and city-park permits for you, so your setup is legal and nobody moves you along at golden hour.

    We work these beaches every week. We know which one faces the sunset, which lot fills by 7am, and where the afternoon wind flattens a table.
